Thank you for partnering with COMTECH METALS PVT LTD. Our Cancellation and
Warranty Policy outlines commercial guidelines governing customized EPC packages, pressure
equipment fabrication, and piping projects.
1. Custom Fabrication & EPC Contracts
Equipment, piping spools, tanks, and structural skids manufactured to custom engineering
blueprints:
- Once detailed drawings are approved and raw materials are procured or cut, contract
cancellation is subject to reimbursement of incurred engineering and procurement expenses.
- Milestone payments reflect progressive stages of work and are non-refundable once the
corresponding milestone inspection is cleared.
2. Quality Inspection & Acceptance
Equipment undergoes comprehensive Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and third-party inspection (TPI):
- Final inspection, hydrostatic testing, and NDT are witnessed and signed off at our Vadodara
workshop prior to dispatch.
- Inspection release notes (IRN) confirm quality conformance before shipment.
3. Warranty & Defect Liability
Standard warranty terms for fabricated equipment:
- Equipment carries an 18-month warranty from date of dispatch or 12 months from
commissioning, whichever is earlier, against defects in material and workmanship.
- Warranty claims must be submitted in writing with inspection documentation for evaluation by
our QA/QC division.
4. Project Cancellation Guidelines
Cancellation of EPC contracts by mutual agreement is governed by the specific clauses stipulated
in the formal purchase order or bilateral commercial agreement.
